In 2018, over 400 brave souls took the Polar Plunge in Green Bay. The best part? After their bodies returned to 98.6°F and the donations were tallied, they raised more than $146,000 for Special Olympics Wisconsin. Booyah. We can't wait to see what the Green Bay Plungers can do in 2019!
Geronimo Allison Update
Due to an unforeseen change in his travel plans, Geronimo Allison is unable to attend Saturday’s Polar Plunge at Lambeau Field. He feels terrible about this scheduling conflict and is disappointed that he will not be able to attend.
To that end, he will be rescheduling the meet-and-greet experience with the Polar Plungers who raised $1,500 or more (date TBD). Further, these fundraising superstars will also receive a special gift from Geronimo as a token of his appreciation for their financial support of Special Olympics Wisconsin.
The drawing for the Special Olympics Unified football signed by Geronimo Allison will take place on February 28. Any individual who raises $150 or more by 12pm on February 28 will be entered for a chance to win!
We look forward to seeing you at the Green Bay Polar Plunge on Saturday – it’s the coolest event of the season.
