A Plunge team can be any size--a group of friends, you and your partner, 36 co-workers, a zillion high school students, or even just you! All that's required is that each member of the team must raise a minimum of $75! Here are some of the ways you can maximize fun by plunging with a team and challenging others.
Cool Schools
Calling all K-12 schools and students! Do you have what it takes to be “Freezin’ for a Reason”? Be a part of the most popular winter event for high school, middle school and even elementary school students. Grab your friends, classmates, teammates, and bandmates and form a team. Your team can be two best buddies or 200 of your closest friends – the size is up to you!
Corporate Challenge
The Polar Plunge Corporate Challenge is a unique opportunity for you and your colleagues to laugh, shiver and bond as a group. There’s nothing like entering the icy waters of Wisconsin together to take the Plunge. Plus, knowing that every dollar raised makes a difference in the lives of 9,000 athletes right here in Wisconsin, including opportunities to become leaders and even land jobs.
Plunge University
Kick-off the Spring Semester with flair. Whether you roll out of bed the morning of the plunge and say to yourself “I’m gonna do this”, or rally your entire student org, we guarantee you’ll have a great time. So, dare your friends, declare the Plunge your student org’s service project, challenge a fellow sorority/fraternity or show us that you school’s athletes support Special Olympics athletes.
Law Enforcement Challenge
Get ready to face off against law enforcement agencies from across the state to see which police department, DOC institution, sheriff’s department, etc. are Wisconsin’s true winter warriors! In 2019, over 40 law enforcement agencies took the Plunge raising over $83,000 to support the athletes of Special Olympics Wisconsin. Compete for prizes and, most importantly, bragging rights!
