The concept is simple: Polar Plunge gives schools the opportunity to rally around inclusion while participating in a unique and wildly fun fundraiser where students and staff register for a Plunge and fundraise to help support Special Olympics Wisconsin. You can have student groups, teams, and clubs compete against each other or challenge a neighboring school. In the process, participants can earn awesome incentives and get a chance to jump into freezing cold water!
A physical Plunge isn’t idea of a whole school engagement opportunity, your school can host your own Alternative Plunge and raise funds as well. You can complete your Alternative Plunge whenever and however you like! Creativity is key — and don’t forget to share your Plunge with us; School Pep Rally, Penny Wars, Ice Bucket Dumps on your favorite Teachers, or Your best idea here: ___________!
PLEASE BE RESPONSIBLE AND SAFE WITH YOUR ALTERNATIVE PLUNGE! The traditional Polar Plunge is safe in large part because we have a professional dive team in the water and emergency responders on site. Do not do anything that could physically harm yourself or others. Special Olympics Wisconsin is not responsible for any injuries that occur while participating in the Alternative Plunge. Please ensure you complete the official registration process and have all participants register and complete waiver process.
